Business coaching focuses primarily on small
businesses. Oftentimes, entrepreneurs will start a business without
fully understanding the basic building blocks. Pat works directly with
these individuals to develop a strategic plan, develop metrics and
address other business issues. In addition, he can help companies work
through personnel issues stemming from organizational change.
The goal of business coaching is to offer tools to make your business
more effective with less time and energy spent. Business coaching helps
get your business running at peak performance while keeping your
business skills sharp.
The business coaching relationship is straight-forward and establishes a
foundation for building your success. As an experienced leader, Pat will
challenge you in sensible ways designed to improve your operational
efficiency and bottom-line results.
To achieve new levels of success, you must routinely re-focus your
efforts. You must develop a clear vision of where you want to go,
maximize what you do best, keep learning and to delegate effectively.
As your business coach, Pat helps you improve your focus, motivation and
management to bring out the best in your business efforts. From
transformation and prioritization to growth strategy and organizational
behavior, Pat knows what it takes to make you and your business a
winner.
Executive coaching is targeted at senior
management within an organization, as well as emerging stars. The goal
is to help these already successful individuals look beyond day-to-day
challenges and work more strategically. In addition, executive coaching
can help business leaders address issues around:
● Organizational change
● Management responsibility
● Vision- and goal-setting
● Colleague perception
● Team building
● Ethics
● Ongoing professional and personal development
Coaching is effective for executives who know where they want to go but
are not sure how to get there. Perhaps, in spite of your outstanding
track record, you aspire to gain additional personal or professional
skills needed to drive your organization to higher levels of success.
Executive coaching can be particularly effective in times of change,
such as promotions, stretch assignments and other new challenges. While
you may be confident in your abilities to take on new tasks, Pat can
serve as an independent sounding board for achieving even higher
performance, especially if close confidants are now reporting to you.
Furthermore, he can help you sharpen skills that you have not needed to
rely on in the past, but are now required in a new role.
As your executive coach, Pat helps develop new ways to attack “old
problems”--particularly when efforts to change yourself, your team or
your company have led to frustration or burnout. Pat is the outside
expert to help you get to the root cause and make fundamental changes.
- How does Pat’s coaching work?
The base coaching is three 30- to 45-minute sessions per month. We
take off the fourth week. The sessions can be either by phone, at my
office or at your office – whichever you prefer. Phone charges are
included in your coaching fee, no matter where you are located in
the world. These coaching session are supplemented by email coaching
at no additional cost, as well as “power coaching calls” (10 minutes
or less) in the interim, as needed. You take on as much “homework”
as you like, as most of your learning and growth occurs between
calls.
- How long will we work
together?
We typically start with a 3-6 month period. I only ask clients to
stay as long as they enjoy the coaching and are getting continuous
value from the sessions. Programs can range from three to twelve
months, or even longer.
.
- What will Pat’s coaching
provide?
This is different for every client. Most often I hear words such as:
accountability, direction, inspiration, challenge, focus, sounding
board and support. The bottom line is that we will target a specific
result that will make a difference in your career or company.
- What are Pat’s specialties?
I most enjoy working with people going through a career transition,
small business owners looking for specific leadership and business
coaching and executives needing a non-partial sounding board and/or
leadership coaching.
- What if you decide not to
finish the term?
If at any point during the coaching you are not receiving value, we
will both know it. You may cease the coaching at the end of any
monthly cycle. You will receive a full refund for the unused portion
and then be charged the normal monthly rate for the time used.
Most people will change jobs a dozen times
in their career. Helping individuals through these transitions is a
primary focus of career coaching. Career coaching is useful for a
variety of situations.
- A new college graduate is struggling
to figure out what career they want to pursue. We can help this
person understand their passions and create a game plan to land that
desired position.
- A person is stuck in a job they
don’t like or has lost their upward mobility. They need help
understanding and leveraging their options. Again, we work with
individuals to focus on their passions leading to new career
opportunities.
- Someone has been laid off by their
employer and does not know where to go from here. We can help that
person evaluate their passions and possibilities in
order to create a positive plan for the future.
Career coaching is an ongoing relationship
that focuses on you taking action toward the achievement of your career
goal. This specific coaching process helps you both define and achieve
career goals more quickly with greater direction.
As your career coach, Pat helps you discover, clarify and align goals,
build your plan towards achievement and remain accountable to the
process.
With Pat’s coaching, you can turn an ordinary job or burnout situation
into small, focused steps that help you move forward quickly--and wake
up fresh each morning excited to start your work day.
